All donations enable us to support low-income moms throughout the SF Bay Area with our integrative wellness groups.

Our groups empower moms with tools that promote mental/emotional health through our mindfulness-based stress reduction program, physical health through our exercise and nutrition program and relational health through our parent education program. We offer these modules in 8 to 10 week sessions, so moms can be immersed in learning and the cultivation of skills in community together.

  • $45 allows us to provide a low-income mom with a 2-hour wellness class

  • $450 supports a low-income mom for 2 hours a week for 10 weeks (one full series)

  • $1,800 supports a low-income mom for 2 hours a week throughout the year; or 4 moms for 10 weeks

  • $6,750 supports 15 low-income moms for 10 weeks

  • $27,000 supports 15 low-income moms for 2 hours a week throughout the year; or 60 moms for 10 weeks

Any donation amount is warmly encouraged, even if it is not in $45 increments.

We need your help to make sure the low-income moms in our community can receive our supportive services!

All donations enable use to offer our integrative wellness programs to low-income moms in East Palo Alto and Half Moon Bay, CA at no charge.

Our groups empower moms with well-researched and evidence-based tools to decrease anxiety, improve mood and parent more consciously.

Being a mom is hard work. We need each other to parent well.

Moms in our Mindful Moms groups report:

We believe that one of the best ways to help transform the way we raise our children is to make sure that mothers are getting the support they need. To this end, we have established partnerships with local organizations to expand our outreach. Our partnerships include:

  • Palo Alto Medical Foundation

  • CORA: Community Overcoming Relationship Abuse

  • Hatch Elementary School

  • New Creation in East Palo Alto

OTHER WAYS TO HELP!

There are so many ways to support Mind Body Moms – not just financially – and we’d LOVE your help! You can:

  • Serve as a liaison at your school, to help us provide low-income moms with Integrative Wellness Programs
  • Forward our emails to moms you know, and post on your Facebook groups. Encourage moms to participate in our paid programs, which enable us to offer our FREE programs!
  • Refer our Employee Wellness and Vertical Leadership Development Program to your corporation
  • Serve as a volunteer onsite babysitter while we work with moms in East Palo Alto.

VOLUNTEER ONSITE BABYSITTING

We are currently seeking volunteers to support the young mothers (ages 16 to 22 years old) we are serving on Tuesday night in East Palo Alto.  We are seeking volunteers to hold babies and connect with toddlers so we can give their teen moms a break, while our team at Mind Body Moms supports the teen moms with our integrative wellness programs.

The current volunteering time is from 6:00-7:30pm on Tuesday evenings in East Palo Alto, from April 24 thru June 5, 2018. It helps to arrive around 6pm, to find the house and get situated with a little one, but it is perfectly fine to get there sometime between 6-6:30pm.

The Tuesday evening program for teen moms will be held at  New Creation:

The address is 422 Hibiscus Ct, East Palo Alto, CA 94303. The house is a residence for 4 of the teen moms in the group. Parking is a little challenging right by the house, so please plan to arrive a little early so you can park a block or two away and walk to the house. When you get to the house, there is a gate on the LEFT side of the house. Go through that gate, and enter the “Annex” – the additional little guest house / meeting facility on the back left side of the property.
