Mind Body Moms
A Maternal Wellness Group that Nurtures Mind, Body & Spirit
“Alone we can do so little. Together we can do so much.” – Helen Keller
All moms are welcome! All feelings are welcome. All thoughts are welcome. All parts are welcome.
The moms in this group come from diverse cultural & ethnic backgrounds. Most moms in our circle have elementary schoolers, middle schoolers, high schoolers and/or college students. Some have very young children, and some are empty nesters – whose young adult children are off on their own already. We all learn from each other and support each other on this incredibly rich, rewarding and often challenging journey of motherhood. Some of us are working moms, some are full time moms. All of us love our kids and we are dedicated to finding ways to carve out time for ourselves and fill our own cups, so we have more of ourselves to give!

Women have been gathering together to connect in circles across the ages. Why? Because it helps us to connect. As social mammals, we need each other to thrive in this world. And there is never a time that our connection with other women is more needed than when we become mothers.
Our integrative maternal wellness groups offer evidence-based tools to promote wellbeing. Neuroscience research has demonstrated the powerful benefits of mindfulness meditation, including its ability to reduce stress, improve mood, boost focus and attention, and treat chronic conditions such as anxiety and chronic pain. Research also shows that social-emotional support is a central factor in maternal health and wellness.
Many moms come to our groups seeking a safe space to connect with like-minded women who value the cultivation of meaningful connections, living a balanced life, and helping children grow into compassionate, resilient adults. And while it is challenging to carve out time for ourselves as mothers, we must invest IN ourselves to be able to give freely OF ourselves.
